Most custom lithium battery packs require a Battery Management System (BMS) to manage and maintain each cell, enhance battery utilization through balancing, prevent overcharging and overdischarging, prolong battery life, display a charge status (fuel gauge), and even incorporate a module to record the battery's history. Holo Battery's technical team possesses the expertise to support every aspect of the process, including 3D modeling and engineering design, hardware/enclosure creation, and designing and manufacturing smart battery management systems utilizing SMBus, RS485, RS232, or CANBUS protocols.
